Involved in music and theatre since childhood, in 2009 Edlynn became the singer of italian folk band Brotherhood, with which she recorded their first album, Migranti. Brotherhood's energetic, engaging live performances have gained the band enthusiastic listeners and good reviews.
2013 brought Tales of night and fires, Edlynn's first solo record: eleven songs that go from captivating pop tunes to suggestive ballads, from acoustic arrangements to experimentations with a'cappella polyphony.
On stage with Edlynn there are her fellow musicians from Brotherhood: the well established complicity between them, built by years of playing together, offers the audience shows full of energy and soul. The band is composed by guitar, keyboard, percussions, cello and accordion. The most suggestive of Edlynn's songs see the presence on stage of some classically trained exquisite singers.
In 2016 her second album, Storms and Magic, came out, with eleven new songs, plus three italian versions as bonus tracks.
Edlynn also writes music for the shows of italian theatre company Compagnia dell'Orsa, of which she's a member since 2013.
The backdrop to Edlynn's songs is an eerie world of stories, quirky characters, theatrical costumes (often made by Edlynn herself) and references to comics, books and fantasy.
